WHY YES, I AM THE BEST GIRLFRIEND EVER.

Alright, so the boyfriend and I are doing this trecherous thing called "long-distance relationship". I know. I know. Anyway, he and I had to wait until this weekend to do that traditional commercial holiday gift palooza known as Valentine's Day. Let me be the first to say that I HATE Valentine's Day. I think its a Hallmark Holiday and we should love everyone EVERY day of the year...not just one...and I hate stuffed animals holding hearts. WITH. A. PASSION. So instead of doing the pink and pastel nonsense, I spiced it up a bit! My pride got the best of me so some of you out there have already seen what I got him, but for those of you who haven't...here they are. Now that he's finally received his gift from me, I can post pictures. We all know that I love homemade junk and this is exactly what it all was.

FIRST: THE CARD
The boyfriend and I are both giganto zombie nerds, and our "saying" is the one shown above. With some begging and promises of my everlasting love, Erin Rose Tollefsen from Little Shop of Zombies, whipped this little image together for me that I printed out and turned into the cutest and coolest V-Day card on the planet. Give her a round of applause...and your money!

THEN: THE SIGN
Okay, so here's a little information about this here sign. Number 1...I did take this in photobooth so its reflecting my computer. It's the zombie shot from Shaun of the Dead that I used. I made a warning sign to go along with the other part of the gift. You see, the boy is not only OBSESSED (i mean, its almost as unhealthy as my obsession with Bruce Campbell) with the film Shaun of the Dead. He can quote it, he has the costume, he has analyzed it....it's really his bag. So I made this sign and had to use the Shaun zombies. And the whole "zombie outbreak" thing...yeah we met at the "Zombie Outbreak Film Festival" hosted by HorrorSociety...and yes, he worked on Chemical 12-D

AND THEN WE HAVE THE MOST AMAZING THING I'VE EVER MADE
okay...maybe not, but it is still pretty sweet.
What is that freshly head-wounded weapon of zombie massacre? Did it come from a shed, a dorm room, my own two hands?! That's right...I MADE HIM A CRICKET BAT. (with the help of Chainsaw Arm making helper Hutch Restarski)
and because I'm all sentimental and junk...I put our pictures on the back of it.

Let's just say, the boy opened his gift and looked like I gave him a Red Ryder BB gun on Christmas morning...that's all I needed to see to know I done good.

HorrorBlips: vote it up!

Oh those really are cute and thoughtful gifts. I once gave Mitch a zombie print that someone had drawn of us based one of our favorite pictures.

I didn't know that you had met each other at the zombie Outbreak fest. Ya for us bringing horror lovelies together!!

I'm sure you both can think of some fun uses for that paddle.

Why BJ,

I can only take of my helmet at the sight of these gifts I can only rejoice for your BF to be so lucky in his relationship *even though it's a long distance one* **Been there, done that**
I wish you both all the best and I'd like to remind your dearest that he takes good care of such a gem.

As for myself, I can only hope that I come across such a thoughtful girl as you are so I me and her can both enjoy these kind of *home made* little things and details.

Anyways, thumbs up to such a original and BEAUTIFUL Memorabilia gift. I'm sure he has a little altar hidden away somewhere after this one -^.

Kind Regards,

Daniel Prüst López
(Cartagena-Spain-Europa).

Thankyou so much everyone for the kind words. I wish you all could have seen his face. I'm usually a bit of an overachiever when it comes to gifts but this one is totally worthy.
